Brophy Bros. Circus is owned and operated by Warren and Yasmin Brophy, both of whom have a long association with the circus industry.
Warren's parents, Norma and Alfred 'Mick' Brophy first started Brophy Bros. Circus in the late 1970s and it soon became a feature attraction at Agricultural Shows, Festivals and Shopping Centres throughout Australia. Another Brophy attraction was The Flying Angels Highwire Motorbike Stunt Show which featured at The Royal Melbourne and Adelaide Shows, Moomba Festival as well as many other rural shows.
In 1989, Warren married Yasmin Perry Maynard and joined her family's Perry Bros. Circus. Over the next 2 decades, they helped operate the family business, performed together and raised three sons in the generations-old traditions of which they are extremely proud.
Towards the end of 2013, Warren and Yasmin purchased the widely recognised red and white Little Big Top from family friends Mark and Karlene Robinson of Robinson's Family Circus.
In March 2014, the brand new Brophy Bros. Circus opened its doors to enthusiastic circus goers at the Royal Toowoomba Show.
It is the intention of the Brophy Family to continue the tradition of providing family circus entertainment to Agricultural Show and Festival patrons across Australia.
